The Buzz is donating $10 for each new car insurance policy sold from May 1 to May 31 2010* to support Loud Shirt Day.

It’s all about helping deaf and hearing impaired children around Australia to be able to hear, listen and talk.
 
There’s nothing you have to do. Simply purchase a policy with The Buzz and we’ll automatically pass on the donation!

Loud Shirt Day is an annual event held by five organisations around Australia dedicated to helping deaf and hearing impaired children. Hear & Say Centre (QLD/NT); The Shepherd Centre (NSW/ACT); Taralye (Vic/TAS); Cora Barclay (SA); Telethon Speech & Hearing (WA).

Each year, 1 in 1000 Aussie babies are born deaf or hearing impaired. Childhood illness can also result in hearing loss so that by the age of 3, 3 in 1000 children are deaf or hearing impaired.
